The Hebrew text of Jeremiah 29:11 reads, “כִּי אָנֹכִי יָדַעְתִּי אֶת־הַמַּחֲשָׁבֹת אֲשֶׁר אָנֹכִי חֹשֵׁב עֲלֵיכֶם,” which translates to, “For I know the plans I have for you.” 

The word for “know” in Hebrew is “יָדַע “(yada’), a term packed with layers of dimensional meaning—more than intellectual knowledge, it often implies intimacy or experiential understanding. 

In the context of pursuing your dream, the word suggests that God’s understanding of our mystical path is profoundly deep, transcending awareness to show active design and purpose. The implication is that our dreams, too, can find alignment in that divinely orchestrated plan, offering both comfort and direction. What’s still amazing about this Hebrew word is not merely an abstract plan, but a divine entanglement that ALREADY EXISTS. When Yahweh says ‘I know the plans’, it also means ‘I REVEAL the plans’. The knowing isn’t just His wish for us, but a tangible blueprint that contains substance.

For many, the problem of pursuing their dream lies in doubt, lack of finances, or, plainly, not believing that He has amazing plans for you. For some, the question is ‘what is that plan’?. a Question most likely over spiritualized and over complicated. The answer to that question is straightforward…what is your dream?. 

In the last couple of months, I’ve been stirred to pursue some deep desires and dreams I’ve had for many years, yet left them unattended because of various reasons. Believe it or not, but those dreams are not directly ministry related.  

Your dream is no mere whisper; it’s the resounding echo of an ancient scroll, tucked in heaven’s celestial archives, waiting to be unsealed. It is the divine blueprint infused with sacred intent, yearning to manifest through you. This dream is your mirror, reflecting the grand design that Yahweh has intricately woven into the very fabric of your being.

In Proverbs 16:3, “Commit your works to the Lord, and your plans will be established.” 

The Hebrew word for ‘establish’ is ‘כוֹנֵן‘ (kun), which carries the connotation of setting up, erecting, or firming. When you commit your dreams to Him, God doesn’t merely acknowledge them; He actively constructs, solidifies, and elevates your dream as the architect and builder, laying the foundation of an enduring blue print. It intrinsically linked this establishment to the “grand design” we spoke of earlier. Just as your dream is a celestial echo, reverberating from the vaults of heaven, committing it to Yahweh enables the divine architect to bring it from the realm of potential into the substance of reality. Through this entanglement, the blueprints in heaven’s library and the dreams in your heart become one, a divinely erected plan.

In Philippians 4:13, the Apostle Paul declares, “I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.” 

The phrase “through Him” is the conduit, the divine channel through which the divine “strength” flows. In this context, it becomes clear that your dream isn’t powered by your own limited abilities, but supercharged by the limitless might of Yahweh. When committed to God, as Proverbs 16:3 says, your dream is not only established, but it’s also empowered. The “strength” bestowed upon you by Jesus becomes the immeasurable yardstick and boundless potential for your aspirations, hence why you can DREAM BIG. It’s as if that celestial blueprint we’ve talked about isn’t only a plan but an ever-expanding universe of possibilities, magnified and actualized through the transformative might of Yahweh. So, your dream doesn’t just echo heaven’s intent; it reverberates with heaven’s very power, realized and amplified “through Him.”

Habakkuk 2:2 instructs, “Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so that a herald may run with it.” 

In Hebrew, the term for ‘herald’ is closely tied to one who proclaims or brings news. In essence, the herald is an activator, setting into motion the fulfillment of the vision. This passage is like the ignition switch, activating and releasing the angelic realms and other spiritual forces to bring about the divine blueprint we’ve talked about. When your dream is written down, whether in print or on your heart, serves as a direct instruction to the angelic forces. You’re not just entrusting your dreams to Yahweh, but you’re literally sending them sprinting through the spiritual realm, supercharged by God’s strength and backed by His plans.

Bringing all these scriptural pieces together, we find a stunning tapestry of divine orchestration. Your dream, echoing from heaven, becomes a blueprint established by Yahweh’s wisdom, powered by His strength, and activated by His angelic and spiritual forces. It’s a dynamic, spiritual ecosystem where your dreams are not just potentialities but divine imperatives in active motion heralded through the ancient paths.

Jesus, I surrender, search my heart. May my dreams burst forth as a fountain of life, rekindling original intent.
