Mystic Realms of Divine Romance – The union of beauty

Song of Solomon 4:7–8 (NIV)

7 You are altogether beautiful, my darling; there is no flaw in you. 8 Come with me from Lebanon, my bride, come with me from Lebanon. Descend from the crest of Amana, from the top of Senir, the summit of Hermon, from the lions’ dens and the mountain haunts of leopards.

The passion translation

7Every part of you is so beautiful, my darling. Perfect is your beauty, without flaw within. 8Now you are ready, my bride, to come with me as we climb the highest peaks together. Come with me through the archway of trust. We will look down from the crest of the glistening mounts and from the summit of our sublime sanctuary. Together we will wage war in the lion’s den and the leopard’s lair as they watch nightly for their prey.

It melts my heart when Jesus sings verse 7 over me. The Hebrew word for ‘altogether’ means ‘every kind.’ You are every kind of beautiful, a complete diamond, expressing every angle of beauty in and through. Can we even comprehend that? When the lover of your soul says there is no flaw found in you, you are the purest grade of beauty, a priceless diamond in the groom’s hand. From our union in Him, it perfectly positioned us to sparkle with the glory light of Yahweh.

A piece from my journal:

‘When I gaze at your beauty, Scharl, like a diamond, I lift you in the radiant light of the Father’s glory. Through you, every sparkle of His radiance is expressed. How can you have a flaw when you reflect Me? I fashioned you to project the fullness of My radiant beauty. The heavenly hosts can’t get enough of Me and I can’t get enough of you. Like a mirror, your face reflects onto Me and My face reflects onto you, making beauty perfect and complete through the union and oneness we share.’

Journeying through the mystic realms of divine romance, it’s clear we are completely inseparable from Him. Our view of sin and decay completely changes when there is no ‘me’ on my own…..it’s US. The blood unified us into Him, creating a new man in Christ. No wonder I’m flawless. The Hebrew word for beautiful is יָפֶה (yā·p̄ě(h)). A spinoff from this word is יָפַח (yā·p̄ǎḥ), and it means ‘to gasp for breath’. The beauty of Yeshua leaves you breathless. No word or action can remotely describe Him, yet He enabled the sons of God to be His expression. 

‘Now you are ready, my bride, to come with me as we climb the highest peaks together. Come with me through the archway of trust.’ 

In the Hebrew bible, both occurrences of ‘come with me’, the את appears, the first and last Hebrew letters, the beginning and end…. Jesus. Our readiness as the bride of Yeshua lies not only in who He is but also WHERE He is. Wherever He leads, He is already at, and wherever He is, you already are. LOL… I know that can sound confusing, but our oneness in Him has positioned you in perfection. Because you are always where He is, your past cannot anchor itself to you. The question is: Do you trust what Jesus says about you? To move with Him through the archway of trust is to rely on the integrity, strength and ability of the plan and scroll He has for you. 

Isaiah 28:5 NLT

5 Then at last the Lord of Heaven’s Armies will himself be Israel’s glorious crown. He will be the pride and joy of the remnant of his people.

As a New Creation being, there is no realm or dimension of beauty that does not exist in you because of Him. It was His perfect will to crown Himself over you to be His pride and joy. Like an athlete who raises his or her trophy, so our Father raises us perfectly positioned, constantly radiating the goodness of His glory. The purity of His presence shines forth as we project every kind of beautiful found in Him. The sons of God are envied as no heavenly being possesses what Kainos beings do: the radiance of perfect beauty. 

Activation prayer

Jesus, I am undone by your beauty and radiance, and yet it all lives in me. I align the gates of my heart to shine forth your perfection as I mirror your face. Let every light, sound and frequency of your countenance find its full expression in and through me, mirroring perfect beauty, your beauty. I love you, lover of my soul.
