VAV
One of the most profound mysteries as a son of God is how much Yahweh values me. I mean, we know that we need Father and cannot exist without Him, yet He makes us feel as if He can’t exist without us. Such exceptional love that He lavishes on those who love Him. In fact, man is so dear to Him He has woven us into His name, YOD HEY VAV HEY יהוה. Man as the VAV, intricately positioned between the two HEY’s (the breath), showing that man’s permanent position is in between the breathing in and breathing out of the breath of YAHWEH. Wow, what a position….
Psalm 8:3-4
When I behold Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You have set in place, what is man that You are mindful of him, or the son of man that You care for him?
The Hebrew letter VAV ו is the 6th letter in the AlephBeyt. 6 is the number of man and VAV is the letter closely related to mankind. Creation was completed in 6 days and mankind created on the 6th day.
When I look at the VAV, I see a YUD at the top coming down a line. Through the VAV, and as a ו, we are positioned to be the channel for divine knowledge flowing from above into the material world. We are the connected ones. Connected horizontally with the breath, and vertically with the divine. If we are the connected ones, then we are aligned and tuned in to the rhythms and seasons of the Heavenly Realms, operating from above down below. Our bodies are in the material world but our source is from the supernatural realm of Yahweh, hence why the VAV is positioned in His name.
There’s one particular tribe that’s a great example of operating as a VAV. The sons of Issachar.
1 Chronicles 12:32 NIV
from Issachar, men who understood the times and knew what Israel should do—200 chiefs, with all their relatives under their command;
They understood times and seasons and therefore had the ability to exercise discernment so the movements and decisions of the Israelite nation would align with that of Yahweh. VAV allows us to move beyond time, to discern time, and then to manifest within the right time. As we continue to mature in this letter, the more we will experience manifestations of the divine in our midst. As the VAV, Yahweh’s breath moving in and through you, releases the Heavenly blueprints to find its expression in and through you.
VAV also means a hook or a tent peg. My thoughts immediately move towards the tabernacle. As the tent peg we position and secure the divine presence wherever we go. Yahweh is saying that His presence is tabernacled by our presence, a partnership from before the foundations of the earth to be manifest in our time.

For He says, “The two shall become one flesh.” But the one who joins himself to the Lord is one spirit with Him
The more I ponder and meditate on this marvellous letter, I see how closely related to connectivity we are. It is like VAV is the DNA ladder of the divine and finds its movements in and through you. We are hooked up in the divine Name; we are connected in the divine presence; We are connected to divinity. Within all this connectivity, I’m so aware of the necessity to be grounded. Humility is key in manifesting the divine. Even though we are the connection point of different worlds and realms, Yahweh has called us to be real in a fallen world. To be real and practical in the physical world is the VAV operating in maturity. The ability to take this tremendous spiritual power and responsibility & to manifest it practically. As the breath of God positioned in the HEY ה moves in and through the VAV, it releases the divine down the ladder of this letter as it filters the breath. It has the ability to catch from the breath what is relevant for now and install it in the physical realm.
The first time VAV ו appears in the Bible is in Genesis 1:1, between heaven (VAVו) and earth.

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
As the peg, you connect what’s above with what’s below so whoever you come into contact with may experience the supernatural realm. Can you just imagine what is going on in your spirit if you are the connection point between above and below. I cannot conjure up an image to describe how incredible that is. Grammatically the VAV is also a conversive prefix, switching a verb from the past to the future or the future into the past. So what does that mean?. It means you operate outside of space and transcend time. As a number six it covers all four wind directions and then above and below. That’s serious co creating abilities.
VAV as a word doubles up on its self. וו. Its numerical value would then be 6+6=12. 6 represents the physical as 12 represents the spiritual. 12 tribes of Israel as the gateways of Zion & spiritual pathways. If we plus the 12 i.e. 1+2=3, we get the trinity. All these put together we form an incredible picture of who and what we are in the Hebrew letter VAVו.
As a connector, it emphasises the importance of connection with Yeshua. Relationship is everything and THE most important connection.
We need to engage our abilities, the keys and mandates we possess as a VAV and exercise it in our prayer life…harnessing this ability will see a manifestation & the reality of Kingdom inheritance on earth. I will give some examples in the activations during the week.
