Just a thought on the Hebrew letters before we go on. Remember that the letters unveil levels of consciousness or awareness. They are keys that unlock. If you had to picture Jesus as a building, that building has different floors, and each floor has a row of rooms. The Letters are the floors (dimensions) that take you deeper into this building, unlocking the rooms (realms) to experience and release the potential and purpose of the building (Jesus).

Samek is the 15th letter in the AlephBeyt and has a numerical value of 60.

The literal meaning of Samek סמך is ‘to rely or trust on,’ to ‘support or lay hands on,’

Samek ס is used only once in the Pentateuch (the first 5 books of Moses).

Deuteronomy 34:9 NIV

Now Joshua son of Nun was filled with the spirit of wisdom because Moses had laid his hands on him. So the Israelites listened to him and did what the Lord had commanded Moses.

In this verse it is translated as ‘laying on of hands’. Though laying on of hands is an act of consecration or setting apart, the Hebrew meaning is that of ‘support’. Samek supports and lifts into higher dimensions and realms of engagement.

The word Samek סמך has a numerical value of 120. Another Hebrew word with the same numerical value is OMED עומד, which means ‘to stand’.

Exodus 3:5 NIV

“Do not come any closer,” God said. “Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy ground.”

This is significant, because what Moses was doing wasn’t just the act of standing but supporting where he was standing. Moses was taking up a position coming into agreement with what Yahweh was going to say and reveal to him. SAMEK stirs our faith to align with the revelations of YHVH. It positions and supports us to support the revelations revealed. As a supporter, it continues to lift us into deeper revelations of Yahweh.

Samek is the letter that dwells in the secret realms.

The Hebrew words ‘Sodi’ = mysterious or ‘Sod’ = secret start with ס. Consider of the following scriptures

Deuteronomy 29:29 NIV

The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may follow all the words of this law.

Jeremiah 33:3 NIV

‘Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.’

Samek is a transporter. As a dweller of the secret realms of YHVH, it positions the sons for divine revelation. Because from this position it aligns our eyes to see The Word… a manifestation of the Letters…. culminated in the Son of God. That’s why AYIN ע appears after ס. Samek positions us into the eyes of revelation, lifts us up into realms to see and engage the next.

The letter has a semicircular construction and hence introduces the word ‘seder’ which means circle within a circle. Think of Ezekiel’s wheels within wheels – Samek creates an atmosphere that carries us into the mysteries and secrets of the Throne room of God. There’s a wonderful partnership between SAMEK and AYIN that positions us for incredible innovations in the Throne Room.

As the secrets and mysteries are meant for the sons of God, then this Hebrew word carries great significance.

The Hebrew word for SURROUND is סבב (sabab) and also means to encompass. Notice the spelling with a double BEYT. As we know by now, ב means temple, that is you. The first appearance of this word is in:

Genesis 2:11 NIV

The name of the first is the Pishon; it winds through the entire land of Havilah, where there is gold.

In my personal engagements, Yahweh showed me that the double ב is inside and outside. As above, so below. That ס positions us into the riches, the gold, the gemstones and treasures laid up in the kingdom revealed to us. It positions us among the fiery stones to engage the altars of revelation. Any altar requires sacrifice. As Jesus is our ultimate sacrifice, it paved how through grace we may bring a sacrifice of commitment, pursuit, dedication, hunger, finances, idols, time….. ס surrounds us with our inheritance, ready to be engaged and released. There is no limitation in ס as it creates capacity (SEAH סאה means a unit of capacity (like litres or kg)).

Ezekiel 41:7 NIV

The side rooms all around the temple were wider at each successive level. The structure surrounding the temple was built in ascending stages, so that the rooms widened as one went upward. A stairway went up from the lowest floor to the top floor through the middle floor.

Ezekiel 41:7 is a perfect description of the function of ס. I couldn’t say it any better…taking you higher and deeper.
