If you are new to this Journey with the Hebrew letters, i want to encourage you to read the preceding blogs to catch up and give you a better foundation. If this is a new journey for you, you are still at the right place. You might not get or understand everything, just keep moving forward. 1% is 1% you never had.
Just a thought on the Hebrew letters before we go on. Remember that the letters unveil levels of consciousness or awareness. They are keys that unlock. If you had to picture Jesus as a building, that building has different floors, and each floor has a row of rooms. The Letters are the floors (dimensions) that take you deeper into this building, unlocking the rooms (realms) to experience and release the potential and purpose of the building (Jesus).

Intro to RESH
Hebrew letter RESH is the 20th letter in the AlephBeyt and has a numerical value of 200. RESH – ריש as word has a numerical value of 510.
RESH means ‘Head’ and ‘Leader, Chief’. Head is the part containing the sensory parts. As head, it controls the gates.
Rosh Hashana – the head of the year. Hebrew letter RESH operates as a gatekeeper.
When we look at the two numerical values, they both end up at one specific location… YOU.
200 = 2+0+0 = 2 = BEYT ב – house or temple
510 = 5+1+0 = 6 = VAV ו – Tent peg
RESH & BEYT work together if RESH is the head that controls the gates and BEYT is the house that separates inside from outside.
Clearly, BEYT and VAV are key in their relationship with ר.
The significance of the arcing or partnership between RESH and BEYT, ר sees beyond the veil. You, as a Hebrew, are the people of the crossing, which is the meaning of ‘Hebrew’. So we always operate from beyond the veil, the spirit realm into the physical. We can see and comprehend original intent, which is RESH.
Ponder the formation of the letter, it looks like an extended head looking into the future or that which is original. Resh is a Vav with an extended head, man seeing into Gods plan and mysteries. RESH enables you as a temple to latch onto (צ) that which is original (ר) and then to manifest it through (ב) temple into the physical realm.
The word ‘ordinary’ starts with a ר. Beyond the veil, the supernatural realm is intended to be an everyday life occurrence for the sons of God. That’s your playground. RESH’s intention is that the supernatural realm may be more real to you than the physical, because it reveals our operational position. Living in that constant revelation of our position enables you to become familiar with an ancient path.
A Root meaning of רב is ‘Abundance or many’. As you will see below, most words that start with a רב have the theme of Abundance.
A Hebrew word that contains both VAV and BEYT is REBU – רבו and it means ‘Greatness’.
Daniel 4:36 NIV
36 At the same time that my sanity was restored, my honor and splendor were returned to me for the glory of my kingdom. My advisers and nobles sought me out, and I was restored to my throne and became even greater than before.
Daniel 7:27 NIV
27 Then the sovereignty, power and greatness of all the kingdoms under heaven will be handed over to the holy people of the Most High. His kingdom will be an everlasting kingdom, and all rulers will worship and obey him.
As we move and engage realms beyond the veil… RESH reveals and positions us to execute our true authority we have in Christ… as those realms of consciousness and awareness are being unveiled, so we step into and take authority to rule.
As a VAV & BEYT, it is God’s design that RESH enables us to live and operate from a position of excess. Excess INSIGHT, excess REVELATION, excess PROVISION, excess ABILITY, excess GIFTINGS.
Ephesians 1:3 TPT
3 Every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm has already been lavished upon us as a love gift from our wonderful heavenly Father, the Father of our Lord Jesus—all because he sees us wrapped into Christ. This is why we celebrate him with all our hearts!
ANOTHER exceptional word with such significance is RABAB רבב. It means to increase by the 10s of thousands.
Psalm 144:13 NIV
13 Our barns will be filled with every kind of provision. Our sheep will increase by thousands, by tens of thousands in our fields;
And when we take it another step further, the word REBABAH רבבה, which means ‘Countless’. We know now from previous blogs that storehouses are attached to the temple. RESH gives us insight to the immeasurable abundance that’s already ours to access. It is important to know who our source of that excess is and engaging with the source is our first entanglement. Venturing into the next wave is the word:
To drench, to satisfy, be refreshed.
To know You is to experience a flowing fountain, drinking in Your life, springing up to satisfy. In the light of your holiness, we receive the light of revelation.
All may drink of the anointing from the abundance of Your house. All may drink their fill from the delightful spring of Eden.
As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater.
And I will satiate the soul of the priests with fatness, and my people shall be satisfied with my goodness, saith the LORD.
For I have satiated the weary soul, and I have replenished every sorrowful soul.
Resh ר is associated with Drenching and Saturation–of both water and of light.
Saturation with Water
Resh ר taps into the deep resources of MEM מ, facilitating a continuous supply of gentle and deep, drenching rain, saturating every hidden crevice of your soul to overflowing. Resh positions us in that place of continuous refreshing.
As lovers of God, our desire is to be fully satisfied, not by the things of this world, but from a union everlasting and complete, saturated with His Life.
Resh ר is all about ‘satisfying’ and ‘thoroughly’- so where deep calls unto deep, it partners with Samech ס to facilitate refreshing upon refreshing, revelation upon revelation, and goodness upon goodness.
Recalibration with Light
Resh ר is also associated with the pouring in of brightness, warmth and life-giving light into your spirit man. As Yeshua is the Light of the world, through your union with Him, waves upon waves… upon waves of light radiate from your spirit, permeate your soul, entering your body and from there into the world. As light is frequency and information, you are saturated and recalibrated, mind, soul and body with the frequency of Love – becoming the light of the world.
BUT THAT’S NOT ALL…. from that place of saturation with living water and then radiant light, in the Soil of intimacy, a perfect combination arises – for the awakening and growth of dormant seed….
To grow; To multiply;
Then the king made Daniel a great man, and gave him many great gifts, and made him ruler over the whole province of Babylon, and chief of the governors over all the wise men of Babylon.
Resh ר is pivotal in the awakening, development and culmination of your True identity and Highest destiny.
When engaging with Resh ר, you notice that its intricate association with humility and walking with Yahweh cultivates growth, greatness, significance and multiplication of you (as a ב), what you look at (through ע) and what you breathe (ה) and speak (through פ).
Words that start with RESH:
The angel of RESH is angel of RESH
