Mystic Realms of Divine Romance – The Orchards of the King

Song of Solomon 6:11–12 NIV

11 I went down to the grove of nut trees to look at the new growth in the valley, to see if the vines had budded or the pomegranates were in bloom. 12 Before I realized it, my desire set me among the royal chariots of my people.

Song of Songs 6:11-12 TPT

“I decided to go down to the valley streams where the orchards of the king grow and mature. I longed to know if hearts were opening. Are the budding vines blooming with new growth? Has their springtime of passionate love arrived? Then suddenly my longings transported me. My divine desire brought me next to my beloved prince, sitting with him in his royal chariot. We were lifted up together!”

Journeying through this amazing book, it has become clear that our hearts and spirit man are the garden Jesus cultivates an environment where the most passionate interactions and entanglements unfold between lover and bride.

I noted two opposites in these 2 verses…. first she continued ‘down’ before she could ‘ascend’. Pursuing the Mystic Realms of Divine Romance, there is a descent that takes place into humility and worship before ascension unfolds. I’m reminded of a quote from my dear brother Justin Abraham: ‘The door is in the floor’. To ascend into the vine and feast off the fruits and blossoms of the orchards, we need to descend into the mystery of the currents and streams that feed the roots.

Isaiah 61:11 NIV

11 For as the soil makes the sprout come up and a garden causes seeds to grow, so the Sovereign Lord will make righteousness and praise spring up before all nations.

As we descend in worship and adoration of our lover, we unlock the gateways of ascension into the budding vines and veins of living water, blossoming within the garden of our hearts. It’s in the King’s orchard that the passion fruit of His countenance grows and matures to intoxicate and cultivate our hearts to sprout with spring time love and intimacy. Descend is not a downgrade, but a lowering into the springboard of worship that catapults our heart into divine union.

Psalm 52:8

“But I am like a flourishing olive tree, anointed in the house of God. I trust in the unending love of God; his passion toward me is forever and ever.”

In the orchard of Yahweh, we are His planting, His passion, His design. With the sweetest affection, He ascends between my branches to caress me with His touch and affection, branching His love into my veins, crushing anointing oil from within my heart. My spirit pounds as His presence creates a longing to ascend into the heights and depths of His unending heart, creating pathways of ascension into the gateways of His love chamber. In the orchard, both lover and bride meet to create a lover’s fragrance blended through entanglement.

The longings of our heart matures as we fix our eyes on intense desire erupting with deep passion to pursue Him, cultivating cravings for the manifestation of His indwelling presence and His intoxication as the source of life. The seeking and yearning for Him is what ascends us into His fragrant blossoms, enabling transcendence from descending to ascending, straight into His love chamber.

Scripture trumpets His will to grant the desires of our hearts. It warns to keep our hearts set and aligned with Him, to guard it free from entanglements and desires where roots and sources are not His orchard. Divine desire, as the Shulamite bride describes, is having an unrelenting passion and pursuit for Him, far surpassing any other, to have doves’ eyes solely fixed on Him.

Psalm 27:8 NIV

8 My heart says of you, “Seek his face!” Your face, Lord, I will seek.

Abba says: “Seek My face (presence)” and David responds with “My HEART says to You, ‘Your face, Lord, do I seek’”. As we ascend with Him in His chariot of passionate love and desire, He blossoms and releases fragrances of ascension in the garden of our hearts, maturing love into a firework of interaction and a joyride Devine.

As a New Creation being, we live transported in the chariot of passionate ascension. He calls us to step into the lowering, the door beyond the veil, transporting you into divine ascended romance, the embracing of the fragrance of His love. His rest positions you in the currents of His wavering blossoms, taking you higher and deeper into the garden of His heart. His chariot is a realm of spiritual transformation, His love a gate transcending into the (Olam) eternity. As a Kainos being, the orchard of the King adorns our hearts with the planting and fragrance of His passion and presence for His bride, the inheritance and fruit combining the union of lovers, entangled in oneness, enraptured in the sound’s bliss of His walk in the garden of His delight.

Activation Prayer

Yeshua, root me in your garden. I draw from the rivers of your presence that vibrate with mystery and secrets of the King’s orchard. Entangle vine into branches, release the fragrance of your blossoms. Mature the fruit of passion and desire that we may express the bliss of the sweet nectar exchanged between lover and bride, lost in the ascended chariot of your presence divine.
