8708 שָׁגַח (šā·ḡǎḥ): Gaze, stare, i.e., to look long or intently at an object. learn, formally, watch, i.e., to gain information sufficient for one’s purposes as a figurative extension of gazing and staring at an object to intently observe.

In this verse, אל, which emphasises The Passion Translation, precedes ‘watches’ that He is not just staring at you. When Jesus gazes into your soul, He creates a portal of access so that His gazing brings Him into the realm of your heart. His gaze is not an external action but an intimate realm created so that His love for you may blossom within your heart.
Journaling on this verse, Jesus said to me: ‘ The reason I blossom in your heart is so nothing else can find its way through. When I peer through the portal of your heart gates, I possess every entrance to your heart so that the intoxication of My wine and fragrance will arrest your heart and melt it into mine. You are my prized possession. I’m jealous over you. My presence blossoming in and through you is releasing a tangible fragrance that releases the aroma of a mystic romance between you and Me. I cannot get enough of your smell. I constantly peer through the portal of your heart… your aroma intoxicates Me. I love dwelling in the garden of your heart, it’s one of My favourite places. Those blossoms in your heart are the love thoughts we share between each other. Every time I think about you, I plant a love seed in your heart to grow and blossom that the brilliance of My gaze will constantly reflect into your heart.’
As above, another meaning for ‘gaze’ in Hebrew is to ‘learn or study’ to gain information.

“God, I invite your searching gaze into my heart. Examine me through and through; find out everything that may be hidden within me. Put me to the test and sift through all my anxious cares. See if there is any path of pain I’m walking on, and lead me back to your glorious, everlasting way— the path that brings me back to you.”
Depending on what place we find ourselves, we tend to read the above scripture with a bit of a negative slant. But the truth as a Kainos being, Yahweh searching hearts, is a joyful and blissful process. He is for you, that intoxicating passion and mystical romance He has blossoming in and through you is Him cultivating the garden of our hearts. I’m in that place. Read the scripture from a place that Yahweh is constantly preparing His love chamber with you. The secret place of intimacy is very sacred to Him, and therefore your heart and its desires will constantly be a focus for Him because the environment creates the mystic romance and fragrance that intoxicates both lovers, you and Him. I want Jesus to do what He needs to, making me the man He wants me to be, or the woman He desires you to be. He just has this beautiful and graceful way of sorting things in your heart, trying to spare you from the most pain possible…. He is so amazing with that. It’s like He gazes into your garden, takes upon Himself what He perceives could possibly be harmful and continues to cultivate his love chamber with you.

11 The Lord will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.
As a New Creation being, we live with the gates of our heart peered open so that the lover of our soul can constantly decorate our love chamber. As a Kainos being, we live heart into heart with Yahweh…. YOUR HEART IS HIS HEART. It is the wine house, if that’s where His love blossoms, then your heart will always be the object of His gaze. Imagine that, He is God, yet of all the things created and still can create, your heart captures His gaze….you are His love magnate.
Prayer Activation
Jesus, my heart is yours. Cultivate the garden of my heart, our love chamber, so that the new wine of our mystic romance may constantly flow and magnify our blissful union. I love you with all my heart.
